Aino enables analysis of spatial data from any dataset in your project, empowering you to make informed decisions with ease.

Buffer Zones and Isochrones

Aino allows you to create buffer zones around any data within your datasets.

Buffer zones

A buffer zone is a geospatial area created around a feature by expanding its boundary outward by a specified distance. This distance is called the buffer distance.

In prompt you should specify the distance and the dataset/pin/polygon from which you want to create buffers.

Build buffer zones of 500 meters for all schools in /Barcelona schools

300 m buffer around /Pin

create 1500 meters buffers around /subway stations in Berlin

200 m buffers around /bus stops

Isochrones

An isochrone is line on a map that connects points that can be reached within a specific travel time or distance from a given starting point. It essentially shows you all the places you can get to within a certain time frame, assuming a constant speed of travel. When creating an isochrone area, the road network is taken into account.

In a prompt you should indicate a travel time and a transport mode - walking or going by bike or by car. Walk is a default value. Here's how:

Find cafes within a 5-min walk from bus stops in /Barcelona transport

Hotels within a 15-min driving area from airport in Paris
